A*Mei Star Tour 2008

ENTIRELY!!
Was at Singapore Indoor Stadium last saturday night
with W and crew
before tt we were at kallang entertainment complex
and we saw a whole LOAD of ajs there as well, presumably waiting to watch
A*mei's concert..
well
she is the mandarin pop's version of madonna/kylie minogue (aka gay icon)
so its not exactly surprising to see ao many PLUs eager to enjoy the night
singing to her many hits
and gyrating to her every beat..
the concert was superb
was a little disappointed to have missed her Star concert last year when it was first in town
so given the opportunity that it has returned for a second time
I was quick to bark at my friends asking for company to the party!
and what a party it was!!
it was an instant discoteque right from the very first song
and along the way, the 3+ hour concert was packed with
hits after hits
even the more "leng men" songs W was also able to sing
like "bie zai shang kou shang sa yan", "wo wu suo wei"
the hits were like super k party
the 10000 strong crowd singing together in unison
the lyrics on the screen was so unnecessary
as fans would all have memorised them by heart
like "ting hai", "ren zhi", "wo ke yi bao ni ma"
fast tracks making its mark included
"yes or no", "A ji yu le"
and sensual dance songs like "wei duo li ya de mi mi"
saw A*mei singing with 4 sexy male dancers stripped to sexy white shorts..
HOT!!!!
the party went on with hits after hits
ending on a high note with songs like "Bad boy", "High high high",
"gei wo gan jue" and "jie mei"
it was definitely a party worth returning to!!
suddenly mid-way through the concert,
i remembered tt
if i'm not wrong
the last concert of A*mei i went to was back in 1999
at "Mei Li 99" concert
was sitting way back
at National Stadium
(yeah, she could very well command a 55000 crowd lo!)
come'on
that's why we call her the Queen!
i'm definitely not going to miss her concert the next time!
now, awaiting for wang lee hom's concert..
(Lee guitars.. haven't bot tix yet.. well well.. $$$ problem leh..)
