Am having my Monster Ball bday party this coming sat
and splurging alot again..
bad bad..

i should have constantly reminded and spanked myself at the thoughts
of having birthday parties
after all the hassle that i've been through in the past 3 years
i once vowed that three was enough
and a trilogy shall be kept to a good threesome

i broke the law

well
there was a purpose and big aim when i started planning for the Monster ball
this saturday
that was to "boost" sales of purewiz
i dunno how it will work out
but the turnout currently is much better than i expected
initially i din even think of inviting many of the ppl now on my "coming" list
but well
its.. ok! they are all good friends/cousins of mine
so its good to share the joy with them
who knows i may be in china already during my next birthday!

so the monsterball has been planned
and although there seems to be a very obvious theme
there is none
haha

i've decided what to wear and its gonna be a nice simple set of attire
and i believe it will be a blast
but the things i'm preparing and the things i've prepared has been.. argh..

and nearing to the day
i get the tension i once had 2 years ago and 3 years ago
its a one man show currently
and its tiring
and thinking of the food, the drinks, the food, the drinks and
how i can make each of my guest happy
i am disappointed with myself

its a long drawn procedure and i blame myself totally for thinking too much each time
being too creative and having different ideas and thoughts just ain't good
especially when you have to execute it all by yourself

i feel now that the date is close but i've not done anything
oh no!

and another note
i should have just gotten a restaurant
(which i got many ideas and many quotes)
but due to me wanting to save money
decided to bring it on to a chalet
kinda regret it now
could have been easier getting a crew of friends to a restaurant/cafe
and just enjoy everything being metted out for you
and you have fun for the three hours
like last year's Happy Party..

at least i dun need to worry about the cake
the drinks
the beer
the desserts
the many many many things
i've got in mind
people staying over or not
entertainment at night
transport
water and drinks and food to last through the night
and.....

haiz~

i can't wait wait for it to be here
and we can have fun
take pictures
tons of them
and enjoy!

Monster Ball will be somethings same yet different
i dunno wat..
but it will be.. LOL!

(not forgetting the small group coming over for the big monster party the night before..
me and pg, russ00, ptmd, wc, and the other bitches.. roar.. tt will be a blast too!)

Hey Happy! Friend!!!!

Once again, Thank You! For being part of my 23rd Birthday Party, the Happy party. In the midst of the rush rush 4 hours, I missed many opportunities to take much more photographs (Haha) and to make relevant speeches to thank my revered friends and sponsors.

The Happy! Party was the third party, as part of the Pure&Sexy Party series. Thank you to my old friends who have been to all three parties, and hope those who joined me for the first time enjoyed it as well! This year’s event was part of the ongoing Pink month, organised by 5-Degrees Network. It supports GLTB businesses in Singapore. Thank you 5-Degrees and its founder, Mr Willie Chan, for your staunch support for the event and generous sponsorship.

The birthday caps, as well as birthday presents for the other Birthday boy and girl was sponsored by 5-Degrees. Best dressed prizes for the attendees were especially provided by Urban Concepts Connections, which can be found at Cineleisure Orchard. The snack pack in the brown bags were provided by Canteen@P, a snack and drinks corner located at Tanjong Pagar Road, next to Play Club. Party Treats folders and the many items inside were mostly had made and designed by me and my friends Vincent Yeo and Melvin Lum, thank them for helping with the crafts, as well as 5-Degrees for the fund to purchase the materials. The handmade sweets from Sticky can be found at their shop at Central. Thanks to Sticky for the partial sponsorship of the sweets, as well as Marsh (found at Duxton Road) for the bottles. Book prizes for birthday babies were brought to you by Books Actually (on Ann Siang Hill). THANK YOU ALL who helped in a way or another! Thank for the generosity!

I also like to thank each and everyone for your attendance. To my Epiphany Friends, Dianne (and Kenneth), Cassandra, Shimin, Meryl, Michelle and Joseph. Thank you all for the memories and friendship in the past year. Great fun knowing you all! Hope you all had fun!

although i feel a little disappointed
that the attendance was way below my expectation.

really tired to write.. all the words and blah blah blah in the midst of exams.. suffocating.. anyway, i celebrated my 22nd birthday today unofficially.. haha.. coz theres a bigger party coming up.. today was juz a small gathering with vinc, han and mig, and that was after my second paper this sem. Its also Vinc's 21st birthday, but he will have a bigger, more official party this coming friday!

My friends have replied tt its dumb to pay to attend a birthday party.. well..

why dun u juz take it as attending a chalet and pay for the food..

but then again, its a party.. so ya..

i have decided tt, unless i can find enough sponsors, i will try to cut down the price.. but still, its a challenge..

Through my experience canvassing for funds for an event, this should nt b a prob, other than the fact tt it is a personal event.. however, good news is on the way through my contacts and somehow or rather the emails communications seem to be running quite smoothly and sponsors are making its way to be part of my event, by cash or kind.. Woopee..

So till the date gets really closer and i can confirm tt i'm not running a party tt looses money, i'll still charge for the tickets at a nominal sum.. come on.. a bbq party for $8 when each person's food and party stuffs cost over $12.. "pi gao lao sai" la.. (hokkien: cheap until have diarrhoea) but still, i want everyone to enjoy, so befroe saying NO directly due to the $8 charge, consider it first.. u still got 2 months.. i bet it will be a fun event..

Those who i've explitcitly invited to stay over.. ahem, u kn ow whu u are, better make urself free.. we will have fun.. its OUR chalet.. (altho i paying)...
