At nanbantei japanese restaurant at level 5 far east plaza, you get real good, value for money lunch sets, especially the yakitori.. The chef grills it fresh meat and other assorted yakitori for you behind the counter. For first timers, try the obento.. You will not regret it. 5 different yakitori, including the extra delicious meat balls and quail eggs, served with pickles, fresh yasai and japanese pearl rice topped with seaweed, minced pork and mushrooms. Have a drink of freshly brewed ocha and end with a delightful bowl of glutineous rice ball with red bean.. Heavenly.. Only $14.70 including GST and service charge for the whole meal..

Its been quite some time i kept averagely long hair. I want to keep it longer. But the weather is stopping me from it. So...

Dun look so stunned when u meet me.. Yes. I'm still Isaac.. Well.. I cut this hair for 2 reason.. One, its too hot.. Two, someone wants me to have same style as him.. But due to the different nature of our hair, the same pattern of cut unfortunately doesn't look alike in the end.. Probably due to the shape of our faces as well.. The other reason, its warm. But after cutting, i feel that in school today, the weather is Damn hot.. Is it due to more exposure of the skin to the sun thus causing it, or that it is really hot today, or my clothes? Well..

and never seem to realise it..
i'm still throwing myself and my attention into so many things in the last week, and the coming week.. well well well..
i've got endless interviews and auditions next week starting monday..
oh my!
the work that comes after doesn't seem to enter my mind..

and i'm getting sporty..
i'm doing runs after runs in the coming weeks and months..

i'm attempting to join a dragon boating team and train up..
(i joined young NTUC for a trial session yesterday.. fun!)

:: know what u eat ::

Its been quite some time since mcdonald's started putting the nutrition information of its food items on the tray mats. But today, Dearie decided to teach me about choosing the right food and all the other things about nutrition. Did you know that mcspicy contains 1310mg of sodium, which might put quite alot of pressure on your kidney? That amount of sodium is 3 times of 6 pieces nuggets. Surprisingly, 6 piece nuggets seems one of the healthiest food around, winning the deceptively healthy looking grilled chicken foldover in the energy, fat, cholestrol and sodium categories. Altho foldover has the highest dietary fibre quantity at 4g, but come on, that little amount of vege found, my friend who dun like veggies will remove them lo.. So.. For a low carbo diet and much healthier choice, u know what to choose at mac. But u r really health concious, try to lessen ur visits to mcdonalds. Wonder how Dearie keeps his abs toned despite his at least once a week visit to mc..

my jap sensei made a dumb statement today
about piercing and earrings being two different things
and another student commented on
that a guy pierces his left ear
while a piercing on the right means his gay
another loud and vocal student immediately said
"left guy, right, u change to a.."
erm.. we know how to spell..

*on a sidenote, my new jap teacher is HILARIOUS and fun!!!

probably.. after so long... i feel the weird feeling of missing someone..
actually.. its been happening for awhile..
really..

since we got quite close (about four months back, when it was more or less on track)
each time we part..
i feel sour
how i wish i'm with him 24/7
even he is at his work (in local office)
i would miss him
and we will exchange sweet notings via sms..

then he went on his business trips around the world..
it hurts me every minute i can't see him
the daily Skype-ing is a necessity, not a want.
being able to hear n see him each nite was wonder.
if there was a day i didn't receive his sms/msn msg
i feel so awkward

and when he IS in town
the once (at least) per hour sms is something i wait for..
oh...

when i was staying over at upper east coast
every night was heaven while the days (as in day time) without him was hell
i miss him every minute
i had to go out for fresh air to try to keep my life in blance.. not exaggeration!

and now tt i've moved back
my sms bill will most probably burst
unless i switch to student plan soon..

because every moment
(after the stay together)
i don't see him and he dun see me
we miss each other
miss each other...

Huat ah! Being a resident committee member, i took part in my first national day dinner. Erm.. Quite un-atas.. Anyway.. Its national day tomorrow.. Huat ah! Will be able to see fireworks. And a good round up to the volunteering job that I've taken part since may.. Wat a long time liao.. Hmm.. Now listening to the vip talking.. Anyway.. I miss the opening ceremony for the beijing olympics.. Hmm.. Hope to be able to watch by the time the olympic torch reaches the Bird nest.. Huat ah!

tiring 2 weeks have finally come to an end
although i'm still quite busy and sleep deprived this coming weekend..
(becoz i'm here at 24 hour playwriting competition now.. here in the function room
of European Association Building)
wow..
well.. school is starting in 2 days time..
oh my goodness
i need to concentrate on school work now..
and
i need to pull up my socks (and gpa) big time..
coz this semester is serious

the series of camps is drying me out

be it just being a programmer cum senior attached in hall camp
(for onli 2 days till date)
or be it as a fake freshie cum siao on group leader..

i'm badly deprived of sleep
looking tanned (or should i say chao tah)
sleepy and unstable
sunken face
but constantly trying to look good..

the weather this week is amazingly hot
just the opposite of last week

today i'm suppose to be playing paintball and dragon boating and going on amazing race
and shi zi lu kou vers 2.01 with the people in Taser
but i'm so tired
i've decided to do something else less taxing but more dreaded
that is so settle the stuffs that have been piling up
my family stuffs, business stuffs, education stuffs, financial stuffs, drama stuffs..

i've been running around more
albeit alone and more freedom
but i met some people around and they all seem to be so relaxed
while i look at a completely diminished stress ball..

its alright..
just some time more to go
it will all be over and i can enjoy my school life
drained off all these extra activities
and concentrate on my studies..

:: Thyra Rocks! part 2 ::

To continue the fun...

day 2:
day 2 started off with another mass dance practice
then we headed to the rugby field at SRC for war games
the challenge was to have fun with water bombs
and build a little "camp base" wrapped with toilet rolls
and protect it during the fight
ensuring that it won't be wet..
however
all the teams failed miserably
but had loads of fun with the water bombs
be it filled with water
or "teh-c", water with mud.. eww..

the afternoon had us gunned off for a day of amazing race around singapore
got the chance to climb up to the top
as we reached the new park connectors in the west
flew kites at west coast park
walked through the henderson waves
view sight from mount faber park
play games at vivo city
enjoy good food at Chinatown and its neghbouring vicinities
then head down to settler's cafe
and ending with a visit to the Singapore Flyer.
after that
we headed for a night of chalet stay at Sentosa
which was really a BAD experience
because the room was ridiculously small
and was suppose to fit 20 people
many ended up sleeping by the benches around
on the floor
or at the poolside... PPLM (poor planning low morale)

Day 3:
we were at Sentosa already
so beach games was the highlight naturally
waking up to rain
we were worried
and prayed for the rain to clear
nonetheless
the rain cleared in time for a fun morning of beach games
it ended with a telematch where the people had to save a "princess" on a little offshore island

we told them that they will get dirty still later at night
so they washed up a little
and we were headed back to NTU
where we will be staying for 2 nights

that night
the couples were paired up for SP initiation
and it was fun going around to disturb the couples
especially the guys and gals who were from Thyra
eavesdropping on their conversation
making funny sounds to disturb them
and taking care of their welfare
they underwent the dirty initiation games
with chilli and flour and eggs
and got a nice treat with their SP of a bowl of warm green bean soup..
the night ended late
getting to sleep only after 4am
and most importantly
they had to bathe clean before going to bed..

day 4:
a relatively simple day
with day games in the morning being cancelled
mass dance practise took over
and the people got prepared for
the ultimate takan session
in the afternoon..

after the boys and girls got dressed up and prepared
we brought them to different place
and it was the guys turn to go search for their SP..
they were "treated" to different experience
at each room
and the seniors had fun playing with them..
doing stuffs like jumping around
stripping
singing
dancing
and getting all embarassed and sweaty
before winning the hands of their ladies
for a romantic night out at Pariss International for a fantastic dinner

the night was fun filled with good food..
scallops
sashimi
oysters
sharks fin soup
delicious cheesecake
and fun games to fill the room with warmth, romance and laughter..

the night came to an end with a night of fun and drinks at DXO
where all the boys and girls went wild
snapping photos
and dancing to the hippest new tunes to the like of pussycat dolls and madonna
and retro hits like YMCA and loads of mambo tunes
fun! fun! fun!

day 5:
the camp was near the end
in the morning
all prepared for the finale night
having rehearsals and all
awaiting for a blast at night

afternoon
we played the finale game of Cluedo
real life computer war game style fantasy game
fighting the evil villains
and getting clues to save the princess
the game wasn;t completed
unfortunately
due to a lack of time..

then all were gathered for the finale night at Hall 3 function hall
and the GLs were dressed up (cross dress) for a night of "urban pageant"
fun and laughter filled the function room
and was pushed to the climax when my team performed
we put up a nice little skit based on the theme of "Desperado"

the camp ended
with the presentation of awards
Thyra received Best Perseverence

when it came down to best male freshie
everyone cheered for someone who was really proud and loud
but fortunately
the judges had eyes
and it was awarded to the most deserving guy
Kuan Wee (Trent) of Thyra!
yeah.. i'm so proud of my freshie..
look forward to meeting all of you real soon

and join in CAC activities next year okay?

after 5.5 days of fun, its finally come to an end.
a whole year of hard work and anticipation
finally draws to a close
as we look forward to more participation
and excitement in the following year
when school starts again!

NTU CAC FOC kicked off to a fun start
i've yet to upload some photos i've taken
will do so asap!

but here's a round up of the activities and my feelings

Day 0:
first day had me reporting back to CAC room last sunday
was excited and all
then
being a "fake freshie"
i had to go seperate from my team of group leaders (gls)
and be part of the action
pretending to mix around like a freshman
arriving at boon lay mrt
joining the crew for fun
and talking and making new friends
it was a tough job using my fake name (i was called Willie, it took some time to get used to)
and had to learn the people's names fast
as we played some ice breaker games and cheers
it was superbly pathetic for me
because i'm a loud guy and wanted to teach them cheers and games
but had to be reserved so as not to be exposed!
night games followed and ran around to play
it was a good oppotunity for bonding, i felt, being a fake freshie
i was more close to them.
then we round up with painting of our Thyra banner!
sleep was only gained at 4am...

day 1:
monday started and tireness began to set in
kicking off with a mass dance pratice.
following that, tour de ntu
i had to take part in the various games
however
i was injured once again
my previous back injury returned to haunt me
but the journey to the clinic for medical review was a good opportunity for me to recover my
senior stand
as i went with 2 of my friends
and could finally talk without hindance.
pool games in the afternoon had to be cancelled unfortunately due to rain.
evening came
and fright night continued.
i was a fkae freshie
but didn't walk through the fright as we did not have adequate time..
(fright night is time consuming)
back in the function room while we changed and waited for the other groups to return
i was back in my super enthu mood
because later tt night
i would be reinstated
and needn't act as a freshie anymore!
after the camp com told all about the fake freshie..
they all started to look stunt and had to guess who it was
after several tries
i decided to just exposed myself and return to being Isaac!
haha.. all in the name of fun,. people
its not easy being a fake freshie you know!

i would continue my story later..coz i'm tired typing things.. haha..

:: NDP08 part 5 ::

I'm back at the Marina bay floating platform today. And to welcome me, SFI has decided to prepare a wholesome meal of western that i so miss since my ns days.. Wow.. Black pepper roasted quarter chicken with a generous resting of boiled potatoes, corn on cob and toasted bun.. I'm impressed.. Simple n delicious. Too bad i'm on a non carbo diet.. So i can't have the potatoes. It looks deliciou.. Hmm.. Temptation.. SFI scores this time around..

:: tired? ::

we got sporty today

as a group of my army friends went to play badminton..
i admit
i suck at sports
but at least
i've the courage to start having more contact with sports
simple ones though
at this age..

but all efforts seem to go to waste
when we went cafe cartel for lunch
and helped ourselves to endless helpings of bread..
evil!

i then proceeded to have my hair cut
so i went far east to look for Zen
i asked him if i could do the china-doll staight cut look
he said my hair was "pong pong" in front
and will flare up
so he cut a asymmetric short kempt style for me..



thereafter
i tried my luck going tangs to look for weizhi
which coincidentally
was on shift
(he was suppose to leave at 4.30, but stayed on a little longer.. so.. haha.. yuan fen!)
and we chatted a while
and thereafter proceeded to SMU
coz he was meeting his gf there

i became "dian deng pao"
eating my first Subway cold cut trio salad
which is amazingly good
for 6 bucks
you get a pretty decent portion of veges, ham, and dressings..

he offered to accompany me to walk to esplanade
where i was catching Happy Robin
on the way
we chatted on several stuffs
on the word "atas" and "wasting"
which seems like the hit word these days

i must admit
that in recent months
I've grown to develop the liking once again for the exquisite
the expansive
its not like i'm dying to reach the upper class of society
because i sincerely think i would be unable to
but..
being able to think of yourself seems self-satisfying
so let me live in my own world

while wc said tt he is constantly feeling tired
since the first semester school started
i think other than the fact that we are older
is the fact that university life is vastly different
and coping and managing is a big hoo-haa
putting it in the corrct place and leading an enriched life is not easy
but if well accomplished
you will lead the most fruitful period of your life.

i am still trying to arrange my lifestyle
and there are many factors and faces to it..
i need the time to slowly piece it together
and i need to do it fast
for one, this is a rat race
for another
i've not much time left

i went to catch Happy Robin
a music sharing session
where ex-TCS actor, star search finalist
currently Jia 88.3 DJ
cum accomplished stage actor (Chang & Eng, Asian Boys Volume 2 and 3)
Robin Goh performs a Jazz gig @ esplanade theatre studio
tonight marks the first night of a four nite shows

the short one hour show
had Robin chatting about life and love
and singing several hits and some special classics
(he did a jazz version of Singapura and yue liang dai biao wo de xin)
and bravely stood out as the guy with a great pink heart
and exposed some little ditty dirty decrets
(such as loving Men, big and strong, and falling for guys
who just meet the minimum legal age (if there is such in Singapore.. pun..))

i can't agree more to his believe on love
that PLU love lives are often dreamt of and wished to be so perfect
but more often than not
turns out to be just.......

well
surprise
dearie willie appeared outside the theatre waiting for me before the show
yes, he bought a tix without my knowledge
so we enjoyed the concert together
just when i thought i would be lonely.. well well..
such little surprise makes life interesting
spicing up our little lovey dovey relationship..:)

to willie:
yup.. nex week will be our 5th month together
people might think as grown ups
why are we still concern about the little months
but deep down
we understand that for people like us
each month count is special in its own little way
like an achievement
a great task accomplished!
i'll be in orientation camp next week
so we shall have our little celebration after that
will miss you loads when i dun see you
for a whole whole week.. orh...

Reliving the days when we first saw this cute clay figurine coming out from an egg.. Domo is a rare gem on tv shorts actually. It looks scary, but inside, its an innocent, cute, adventurous, fun, ignorant thing that we still dunno came from where? Domo..

:: healthy living ::

isaac is fat
and he knows it
even with regular runs in the parks
and several 5 and 10k runs in the past few weekends
and regular swims and fitness sessions at the gym
he is still not losing weight
instead
increasing at a steady rate..
that is BAD!

so with consultation from wil
and the decision made
plus a little will power n determination
isaac will start from yesterday
to adopt a whole new eating habit
which will hopefully see him revive the "post-BMT" look
at least for a start

so the minimum carbohydrate goes into each meal
and much more vegetables
a little meat n fish
and just adequate amount of oil

cut soft drinks to maximum a can a week
and rely solely on plain water
eat in moderation
reduce intakes of salt n other sauces
natural spices works best

double the training for running and swimming
and weights training at a regular interval

anybody keen to help isaac
or to join isaac?

:: big brother sense ::

everytime we meet new people
or when he run into old friend
he will introduce me bravely as his partner

but when we run into my friend
i would say he is my friend..

he is like a big brother to me
his friends thoroughly agree with me
our 10 year age gap
does nothing to improve the situation

he is more intelligent
diligent
creative
motivated
understanding

he is like a role model to me
90% of the time when we are really sitting down to talk
he is always the one passing on his big brother sense to me..
like he always does to his little brother (not me, his real brother)

so nonetheless
sometimes i will think to myself
why am i so "glue-ed" to him
is it because i take him as the "kor kor" i never had
or is it really love

well
time has come to tell
that this is normal in a relationship
because he has undergone so much
he knows what is best for me
and in fact
that would be a good thing.

loving him is a bliss
the happiness, the many things that come along
you get to experience a better, more well-rounded life
i am really happy.

i would prefer someone more mature to teach me things
because life is a lesson in itself

to know that in a relationship

dearie n i take turn
in tricking one another with our little ways
to show our affections for one another
so called opposite ends attract..
but we are more like super random magnets
changing polarity at different times

there will be sometime where he is the big brother to be
but at others i take the leading role
because we don't persistantly be the one in power
that's probably why we can last
from the start till now..

we rarely quarrel
more often than not either party will give in, in less than an hour
we make up quite fast
and life goes on as usual thereafter
he sometimes makes the decision
sometimes, the choice is mine

people see us as one, gradually
but deep down
we know we are two seperate entities
and the reason we can be seen as one by others
is because we have so many empty voids in our lives
that the other can fill in (hopefully) seamlessly
maybe this is called

in the second episode of this 13 parter
it took a look at something i quite interested in doing.. and in fact, did a little.. haha
LIPOSUCTION..

yes.. i did it for my chin area so as to not aggravate my double chin
now i'm trying hard for it not to return.. lol

as for the show today
we saw zheng wanling in a very loud character as Emily Tan.
she consulted Kelly for view on how to look better.
although Kelly advised her to look to Sky for gym trainings
she turned to dr lollipop instead (its Dr Bobby Low, played by Dick Su)
after two failed consultations
she went home disheartened
only to get reprimanded by her younger brother Alex
who dislikes her loud character (in this case, it leaves her single partially due to her being loud AND an holding a "scary" job of being a mortician.)
Alex brought up the different negative side effects and possible after effects of liposuction.

personally
i am suffering from a slight after effect of liposuction currently
my lower chin, towards the left,
constantly feels numb, and when pressed against,
has a painful sensation.

yup..

but if i got the money,
well
i would still consider to go for liposuction..
I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT..

any personal trainers reading my blog willing to help me for free? haha..

(oh ya, if Julian Hee can be my personal trainer, i promise to lose all my weight within a month.. but then again, i might wana take longer so i can see him more often.. swoons..)

No, not the amazing race asia, but a delicious pizza from Spizza for friends. TARA contains tomato, parmasan cheese, bacon, mushrooms and an egg. Sorry for showing you such a picture, i only remembered about telling my frIends about this when i finished half of it.. So yup.. This is my favourite pizza flavour from Spizza.. I love quinto too.. Yeah.. Oh ya, must mention that Spizza's pizzas are roasted in traditional spit fire wooden ovens.. Yeah.. Think of the chamber.. Thus the pizzas all taste delicious and packs a flavourful punch.. :: The Perfect Cut . Episode 1 review ::

being a fan of Julian Hee AND Thomas Ong
I am more than glad to be able to a (hopefully) periodic episode review

In the debut episode of the brand new channel U's show Perfect Cut
we see a trio of people who can definitely make you look good
we have local top aesthetician Alex Tan (played by Thomas Ong)
friend and listener, clinical psychiatrist Kelly Lim (Michelle Chia)
and hunky, cute, ever fabulous darling of mine,
Julian Hee (as Sky Tan, the buffed up personal trainer).

they come into contact with a problem couple who is psychotically unstable
Yoyo (constance song) is a married woman who is emotionally affected by her husband sam (bernard tan) who doesn't seem to be interested in her, thus she begins to let her imagination run wild, thinking that sam likes women with large breasts.
she gives up the long term psychological consultations, and looks for Alex instead for a brest enhancement surgery.

however, sam is actually more interested in Julian Hee.

as the story unfolds, we see the complication between the five of them.

the show reaches a climax when my darling Sky announced to Sam that he is not gay
(yah, like i believe..). then sam's job is disconnected.. while Yoyo rushes to do yet another surgery.

and then, someone called Alex to tell him someone is dead..

on all, i seriously think the drama is really intense. it was on the whole a tight show, and really reflected the society's veiwpoints on the topic in a positive light.
the surgery scenes was quite gross, especially since i was having my dinner. eeeww...

the actors acting were above average. i must give credit to Julian Hee for giving the
Beach.Ball.Babes (channel 8's 9pm drama)
girls a run for their money.
he revealed his tanned and toned body in many scenes, and looks FANTASTIC.
its a real pity tha this might be his very last show with the station..
(i sincerely hope they will have a vcd or dvd collection of the show,
for me to swoon over him.. lol)
credits also go to Constance Song for yet another courageous performance.

in my opinion: heart is more important. breast size doesn't really matter. viewing for pleasure.
but i believe that if i were to date Fiona Xie, i would feel very insecure..
(and yes, Yoyo, Sam likes people with big chests, but must be muscular.. haha.. Julian has quite formidable chest siah..)

I realise not working for money makes me much happier!
really!

i've been involved in a whole load of volunteering work in the past week
though i slog it all out under hot sun,
or immense pressure
and meeting easily irritable people
but my life is felt being so much more nourished..

i guess working as a volunteer
you look forward to the little good stuffs you gain at the end of it
with the experience being priceless!
you will feel tt you are a better breed of human being
and at least you are not working simply for money and not being happy.

you get to meet new friends.
and find a new meaning to life
and share experiences and life with different assortment of people.

Since we witnessed the opening event of the 2008 Arts Festival,
We reckoned that it was only proper closure to attend the closing event too.
Especially when it was to be held at Bedok Reservoir.
After an uncomfortable experience jostling for space with the
Maddening crowd at Boat Quay a month ago
We were better prepared this time.

Too prepared.

So arrived we did, with bento boxes and their yakitori acessories.
And then there was some dimsum, and then, some more.
We brought along a bottle of vodka, some cranberry and orange juice.
There was time to kill.

We were almost two hours ahead.

The evening picnic turned out to be half the total fun.
The water-theme show, well, had a watery start and ended up in flames.

Literally.

We were amused by the Water Bottle Giant Man.
A lot.
While it was totally not integral to the almost-linear plot
We suspect PUB has a hand in this recycling project.

The panda imprinted pancake i found by chance at meidi-ya at Liang court was really cute. Costing $2 each for a red bean or chocolate flavoured one. A pretty considerable size and comes in a nice little wrapper bag. But.... Look: 4 stars taste: 1 star it was hard, mayb left too long on shelf, and the chocolate feeling was miserable. Nice to look at, not nice to eat. But i feel cruel actually to eat a panda. Hmm.. But my friend said it tasted better than the breadtalk earth quake charity fund bread one.. Well...

:: good food . Ah balling ::

Found this really good ah balling stall by chance with Dearie at the newly renovated Smith Street market at chinatown. Its a little costly (at $2.50 a bowl of 5 mixed ah balling), the glutainous rice balls with fillings of peanut, black sesame, red bean, yam paste or even durian paste, taste heavenly. It isn't sticky to the teeth, yet provides a good marshy bite, chewy n delicious! Really worth a try. Its at the green zone.. Go find it and try it. (A bowl of all 5 durian paste ones cost a bit more, at $3 a bowl, but darn worth it for durians fans.)

been quite busy this holidays
as i've always said
but much more now due to the start in negotiations with some people
about the kicking off of a really fun and interesting project
which might spell out my life
in the very near future

i've always been interested in fashion and media
no matter how bad i may look
or how bad my standard of English may be
but now i'm on my way
slowly moving into being a more multi-dimensional
media person
freelancing for a start in some factors of media
and moving towards a common goal

i've got friends from different groups working together
army friend, social friend, jc friend..
and i seem to hold different projects..
but soon.. they will all come together
as i've just learned from someone
that i can put myself out and up
as a "standalone company"
providing several opportunities out to people and companies
who are keen in employing me

my idea is not the money earned
the main motive being to learn
the different ropes i can cling to
and one fine day built a repute for myself
to be an individual

so soon
i'll turn into a pro blogger
letting it be one of my media of expression
and linking my world to the public
in a more dignified manner

and looking forward to some of my more confirm freelancing jobs
like writing columns for some renown magazines
(not appropriate to mention now, since the eggs ain't properly hatched yet)
and also in the pipeline

then this group of ah tiongs came onboard.
one of them, who acts like she's very young (come on, your wrinkles...)
pushed her way into the encavement although it was quite full liao
and she dared to talk do loud to tell her friends to get them to make way nearer to this encavement where she was standing..
"shuo, excuse me, i NEED to go in"
excuse me, bitch, it is so fucking crowded, can't you see???

i gave a look to dearie.
he whispered to me to say maybe they are friends and want to talk together..
yeah right..
the way they talk

i can still hear their conversation crystal clear even with my ipod blasting madonna's songs at full volume la!

she kept squeezing me and pushing me inner towards the window
and even if i had my hands on the railing

Cafe cartel's set lunch dessert has now desperately changed to a pack of mini poppers. Well. I always wanted to ask. Are these poppers working the same way as the other poppers we know? Do they make you enjoy it so much that u get high, flaccid and loose? Hmm..

my close friend brought me to this firm which has this fantastic business idea
i stayed there listening to the business idea for almost 2 hours
the person, who obviously has his mind filled with $$$$
kept evaluating how great the business idea was
the concept was special and imaginable
but the problem lies in tt why and how can i trust
the lump sum to be invested might be small to a working adult
but i'm a frivolous young kid who has totally no control over money
and i just can't take out such a sum..
and i believe that i will need to convince my friends to join me to make the whole thing work
no matter how beautifully it is put..
the offer is rather enticing
and sounds really simple
but i dun see the instant outcome
its hard for me to put my heart in it..
really
and i'm just not a person who can explain
dun every trust me to do pursuation work, like selling insurence or just over the counter sales
i just suck at business
maybe some people are carved out like tt..
but people close to me would know tt i'm not such a good talker..
and i'm no material for the monetary world..
probably i'm just fit to be a slave
working for others..
oh ya.. i dream to be a teacher.. watever..

this holidays seems so weird
i'm suppose to be taking special sem
but the course i chose is so... i dunno how to describe it
i feel lost taking architectural appreciation in civil engineering..
civil engine? which part? appreciation? okay..
what did i learn, really? i dun recall..
what am i suppose to do at exam later? ... draw someting which i guess i noe..
the whole ting is funny lo..
the lecturer never even teach us how to draw,
and we have to come up with our projects,
designing a bus stop and our dream home..
duh..
i won't say the course is easy.. although there is noting to study..
and it is purely based on creativity..
and i somehow am quite bad at drawing..
and its not hard..
to those people who can draw..
and as i said, noting to study, so where got hard?
i'm so lost now..

but i've SU-ed it..
so i feel relax..
but after SU-ing..
i feel a mix of emotions..
because i do not know how the instructor grades..
its safe to SU it so it doesn't affect the GPA..
but mayb he is super lenient
then i may be missing out..
i actually quite wana know what grade i get..
somehow feeling a little regretful..

then again..
because i SU-ed
i feel so so so comfortable and unstress..
really..
i could even affor to go out for movie of Kungfu Panda (will do a review tmr, maybe)
late night on the eve of the exams..
and have dinner wif dearie..
and come back hall at 11pm..
and now, just completed rushing the drawings (projects) which are due tomorrow..
(they were by right due 2 weeks ago, but the instructor extended it so we can improve on the drawings..)

i done my best..
and will do my best tmr as well..
as i go into the exam hall
for the first time
completely at lost
both with a mixed feeling of exhilaration
confident that i am prepared ('coz theres noting to)
and worried (because i nv know how i will do.. its ART..)

and so the 4 of us totally ignored our alarms and continued sleeping..
i was first to be fully awake..
at 1345...

actually my singing competition is in evening..
but i juz isn't prepared to sing.. and not really interested actually..
so our fully packed day..

On this fateful Saturday
when the sky was grey
and it poured heavily
I almost went blind..

i was at Kallang PA water-venture
having my one star Kayaking course
and it was time for capsize drill
i did it, really, i did the capsize drill properly
but while i was able to save myself
my Oakley glasses fell off
and plunged into the water
never to return..

it hurts so much
because it was a gift
from a special friend
and it was also a gift of eyesight..

lesson learnt:
when doing water/high risk sports,
its sometimes better not to see things too clearly
who ask u so "geh kiang" go wear such atas glass leh?

then after tt fateful incident in the morning
all i cud do was to continue the rest of the day's lesson semi-blind..
and thought each dragon boater in the vicinity was a shuai ge
and almost recognised my hunky dearie wrongly
i almost went to touch a NUS dragon boater la
damn muscular n fit
but the face cannot make it
i tink my dearie who is in his prime looks so much better.. oops..
i lost my point
anyway
its good to have a spare pair of specs at home..

wow.. now i have perfect eyesight..

:: sex and the city . the review ::

i can't really call this a review la..
because i'm tired and not going to write much..
but, yeah..
i caught sex and the city today..

today was a busy day
went k-boxing
then sex n the city
then to watch Arts Fest performance of Drift..
now i'm tired n gotta wake up early tmr to go for my Kayaking lessons
with the gang..

maybe i'll do a more detailed review soon..
wanted to do a ZACast,
but unfortunately
my Mac's disc drive is down
so i can't load the SATC OST
if only it was working
then i do play the songs and have loads of fun
doing a full fledged review..

however
i must say tt SATC is a must watch film this summer
because it is poignant, funny, and both heart warming and heart wrenching
given the opportunity
i'll watch again..
with W
and i'm sue we will have loads to discuss about love..

for now, i juz sum SATC's Carrie and gang up
by giving it two thumbs up
and a fantastic 4 stars overall..
cinematography: *** (the way the film is shot is quite uncoordinated, a little choppy)
story: ***1/2 (its still a beautiful ending.. little boring bout tt..)
music and accompaniment: ***** (wonderful OST!! perfect song choices)
characters performance: ***** (come on, these ladies deserve it.. 10 years together, they have the best "mo qi"..)

:: beautiful mistake ::

The people at botak jones made a mistake regards to my take away of Cajun chicken set. I decided to have my sides as fries and pasta salad, with request of extra fries. In the end, they gave me what i ordered, with additional piece of chicken, making it a large set, which should have cost 5.50 more, and also a portion of coleslaw, which was additional la, coz i changed it to pasta salad le ma.. Lol.. So happy!

(3 hours in fact.. lol)

a union is some sort of wedding
but the difference is
it is not in the legal sense
some sort of coming together
celebration of two who really love each other
making promise that they will love each other
in sickness or in health
and never part
or so they try to make it sound

it marks the end of just a simple relationship
and goes a big step into
a world where both blend one another seamlessly into individual life
they are affirmatively together
accepting everything
like a couple

dearie proposed
for us to plan and work ahead
to a day when we can
seam into each other's life
where we make that promise to each other
to love one another deeply, forever
in other words
he "asked for my hands in marriage"..
although it sounds so so wrong..

and I thought about it
for two weeks now..
before i finally said.. yes..

:: luxury ::

Guess where is this. The newest n coolest bar? "deh".. No.. It was onboard the coolest looking but dumbestestly designed bus ever. On tis service 174 which was promoting NTU college of engineering. So its the CoE bus.. I dun really understand the meaning behind, nor do i get the concept.. Well well.. It looks interesting. However, the seating arrangement and seats are strange, awkward and super uncomfortable! Luckily it was during non peak hour.. It can't fit many people also lo.. N i certainly dun hope to take it again.. The new series of buses, especially 174, sucks. The handicap friendly one sucked, this one more.. Wordless..

:: doggie goes town ::

I saw tis boy who bought his little (balloon) pet doggie out to the mall.. The people whom he and it walked pass was all afraid of it. Not that it bites. But scared that they might step and burst it. Lol.. Cute lo..
