:: The Answer Is... ::

Just returned from stefanie's concert..
and it did make me think quite a bit..

been a rather hectic day,
attended a cooking class in the morning which I thought was rather "fei4"..
then went to dragon boating again..
felt good, although it can be a little tiring..
everyone has a passion
and weirdly, i seem to really want to get aquainted with watersport..
well well..
so back to kallang on saturdays, will be more positive, make friends..
and enjoy my saturday workouts + fun session + tanning session!!

The highlight of the day had to be Stefanie Sun Yanzi's 2009 world tour..
"The Answer Is.."
I am truly blown away by the show, completely!
it was awesome to the max, especially the STAGE!
its the most amazing stage I've seen in my entire concert watching life..
the show was so well planned, with the diamond cut background setting,
and endless changes..
It was a grand style concert I have never seen before!
and the costumes..
it made Stef shine like a confident, mature, radiant lady..


but i must still talk about the stage..
the many transformations and "ji guans" it has is simply amazing..
with just plain white light, it looks rather ordinary..
but when the strobe lighting comes on.. whoa!! tan4 wei2 guan1 zhi3 la!!
the whole lighting on the wonderfully down holed stage backdrop transformed the audience
into another fascinating world.. no bluff wor!
the different raisers and platforms were amazing..
the piano playing section was magnificent..
as stef "floated" in in a moving "cloud.." beautiful!
when it was near the ending.. the "rocks" by the side
was uncovered to reveal the great band who was working "backstage" throughout!

it was the best show I've watched..

the only gruntle i have was that there were not enough fast songs to get the audience standing on thier feet.. although i enjoyed all the songs..
i particularly did not really enjoy "green light" due to its arrangement.. abit la...

the final part when the stage extension moved out and rotated was another highlight..
and also when the image of her projected on a screen singing..

all these has to be experienced live at SIS for one to admire the whole beauty la!
seriously!

the title "The Answer Is.." was very cleverly brought out through the different segments..
but mainly, the key idea was that one should do whatever he/she wants to..
without much restrictions.. enjoying one's every moment, appreciating what he/she has..
that is the Happiness.. and that is the answer.. to life's never ending question..

I was inspired.. to take everything in my way..
to plan my daily live properly
to not waste any more time
and to try spending wisely from now on..
be a man that can be trusted and be a man of dignity..
excel in everything
at least attempt them..
don't give empty promises..
or dream too far out..
be realistic in the goals i set
and achieve them!

Be myself and be happy..
I hope that is the answer to my life's neverending question
and yours too!

:: 神木与瞳 摇滚精神震荡Lunar Bar ::

星光二班的赖铭伟和黄美珍（神木与瞳），二度来新在克拉码头Lunar Asian Fusion Bar 举行小型售票音乐会，全场爆满，摇滚音乐high 翻天。



超人气摇滚男女组合神木与瞳，继去年底到新加坡宣传新专辑时，曾到Lunar举行新歌演唱会。因反应热烈，在今年5月20日晚上，再度回到Lunar开唱。和现场乐队一同表演，除了唱出多首《为你而活》专辑里的歌曲，也为观众带来其他艺人的经典歌曲，摇滚精神引爆全场。

本地歌迷熟记非主打

音乐会一开始，身穿黑白线条搭配的Yuming和Jane，默契无间，带来了几首强劲的歌曲，如“武装的蔷薇”和“爱在末日前”，Yuming（赖铭伟）弹着电吉他，配合美珍高亢的嗓子，首首歌曲都让现场的观众一起跳起来。



进入Unplugged不插电的部分，Yuming开玩笑说要暗下灯来，才更有气氛。带来抒情歌曲包括“爱恋”和“理由”，显示出两人的唱功。非主打“不放”即使很少在公开表演，但这次表演在场的歌迷一却能跟着合唱，两人都赞本地歌迷厉害，熟背了专辑中所有的歌曲！

摇滚精神震荡全场

演唱抒情主打《草戒指》时，神木与瞳上前与歌迷握手，拉近与歌迷们的距离，更带领全场一起挥手，大合唱。过后，美珍松了口气，表示终于唱完所有抒情歌曲的喜悦，准备把音乐会推向另一个高潮。



把台上的乐器推到一旁后，两人演唱了张惠妹的“三天三夜”，继续high爆全场，舞池里的歌迷更跳动起来。Yuming和美珍飙唱的“自由”，也让人听出耳油！

最后，神木与瞳与歌迷一起大合唱成名曲“为你而活”，歌迷的声音一度还盖过了美珍的歌声，摇滚精神震荡全场，音乐会结束后仍依依不舍和歌迷们道别。

五月天 :: 回到地球表面新加坡 演唱会2008签票会 was held today at Bugis Junction! Excitedly, I brought my tickets and attended the event! The queue was snaking all the way to the back, and it was a long wait..

Willie dearie suddenly called me at 7 and said he was at Bugis. I was so surprised! He met me and surprised me with yet another ting, he bought another ticket for the concert, the seat next to mine! Yeah! I had company. I shall not go into the argument of him not watching Chinese concerts.. Well.. Haha..

And he did the most interesting ting a guy his age might never do, given his reputation and image.. he queued up with me to go get May Day's autograph! Lol.. It was his first time attending an autograph session lo.. Haha..

And he also bought me the May Day 离开地球表面 CD + DVD. so touched....

Peifen was the host.. too bad could only take picture from apart..


When i went on stage, I wanted to say hi to her but was she was busy talking.. Willie even wanted to ask her take picture with me, but i din want to trouble her.. Hmm.. Now to think of it, how dumb.. I should have let him help me take pic.. roar..

then we had Happy Meal at McDonald's again for dinner.. did not want to teat too full, so this was just nice. You should really try the Apple Dipper if you have never tired before.. The apples are really sweet, and the caramel dip is really delicious.. Sweet!

Willie said its really interesting, and he is beginning to like May Day's music after hearing it for the whole night.. Haha.. We queued for almost 2 hours lo. Thank you for accompanying me, dearie..

He persisted on sending me back to Boon Lay, and so we did. And we went to JP to get bubble ea.. Hmm.. I had my Green Apple Yoghurt! And oh ya, they opened another sweettalk at the main entrance, next to Shilin.. Hmm Business must be good huh..And it is named Juicy instead, but the stuffs and staffs are all the same.. Wonder why. Cannot two branches same name huh. Duh..

I persisted in digging out the last blue straw in the box if not i dun drink.. Dunno wats with the weird habit of mine.. anyway, Will dearie chose green as his favourite straw colour.. so we must persist on using blue n green straws to drink bubble tea.. haha..

I've got it! I've got it! I've got it!

Yeah. After my exams this April, I am going for May Day's concert 2008! Yay!

I really wanted to go last year, but I couldn't get tickets.. I regretted not attending Jay Chou's one earlier this year, so I shall not the same mistake again!

(but actually its Wildy dearie who bought it for me.. He refuses to go with me, saying it will kill him to attend a chinese concert. But he attended Eason's. And Aaron's last year. And Jackey's. Aren't they Chinese? Duh!)

I am going for May Day's autograph session tomorrow too! Yeah! (altho alone). But I am excited. 五月天万岁 !!

Campus Yummy Hunts in NTU! (part 2)

unfortunately, I was unable to be part of campus yummy hunt at NTU's first filming.. but nonetheless, I was part of the filming today with Felicia Chin and Dasmond Koh for the new Channel U foodie show.

well, the day started at 11am, with me visiting Canteen 14 for the first time in my NTU life.

I was part of some 28 food tasters, including students and outsiders..

from there, we tasted can 14's Mixed Grill, which I thought was overly meaty, although some parts were good but the others was so so... (I hate beef n lamb!!)

canteen 13 was recommended for its Korean food. I was surprised to know tt all the crew frm the stall were korean. i personally thought the food was satisfactory, and kimchi was great. we tried the bibimbab and I was pleasantly surprised at the taste.. It was much blander than the c-jade one i tried last time, but i'll give it a passing grade.

the third station was canteen A. Jap food was on the menu, and by then, most of the tasters were already pretty full! We had curry chicken katsu don, which was one of my favourite dish originally. However, today, the miso soup was too salty!(tink zhang ziyi in the visa adv). The rest complaints abt tt..

I made my final choice and decided tt the Jap food was my favourite, based on history n not on the food today.. who eventually won? I can't tell u..

shakalaka weekend..

other than rushing for reflection paper for Effective Communication, reviewing computing stuffs, studying for Principles of Economics test this thursday, doing the loads of revision on physics and chem and maths as well as doing tutorials for this week, I spent the whole weekend in my hall.. But not really, this was what happened..

Friday: I skipped 2 lectured due to my dental appointment.. orh... went to NDC to see dr tey, who confirmed that we can try to book the OPERATION THEATRE for my JAW operation as soon as 18th December (but muz b at Changi General Hospital coz SGH all booked le).. gotta see if they have the equipments.. so if all goes well, U all can come hospital visit the all new Isaac.. ( yes, I will literally have a new FACE. yeah.. shuai ge in the making.. oops..) Then after the rounds of x-ray and checks and calls, despite not being able to confirm, i was still glad. coz it is finally coming.. i waited three years le.

after d dental appt, i went Gorgeous Solarium, a new concept sun tanning studio at Tanjong Pagar for my complimentary tan that i won thru a online contest.Ok lo.. coz until now i still dun see the effect.. orh.....

Saturday: I studied till around 1130 before pei-ing weizhi out shopping coz his girlfriend cud nt accompany him.. am I a good friend or a good substituent... lolx.. but it was fun going out with such a not bad looking and quite trendy dancer.. haha.. we went Bugis and have lunch n walk walk.. very crowded lo.. they were having this Singapore Male Calendar Guys event.. but hor, after we stared at the photos of the supposedly hunky n muscular guys, we juz cudn't decide which one looked good. neh mind.. and at bugis village, I passed a simple hair cut salon.. at it only cost $16 for a cut+wash+style.. so after contemplating, i decided to give it a try, since i'm there.. wow, he really dare to cut lo.. and gave the the style i always tried to get, but the Jean Yip ppl n Klearcut ppl nv dared to do till tis extreme.. once again, its the hair of a uber non-engineering look for a engineering student...


then in evening, I went to see shakalaka baby Kelly. she really skinny n quite pretty.. thru Y.E.S 933 contest, i won a chance to take pic wif her n also get a autographed tee shirt n poster..


Oh ya, let me name who i met @ bugis tt day: pri friend jing wen, sec sch friend nathania, bmt friend weiquan, 3sig friend yezhe, hall4friend lijing and many more.. whoa.. bugis is the place man.

sunday: cut short: study, go collect race pack for next week New Balance Real Run, went May Shan's 21st birthday at Aloha Loyang Terrace 8, then came back hall early coz they all got car can stay late.. argh.. but nvm.. i got guest in my room.. Mark stayed last nite coz he had party in hall6.. haha.. hope u rested well n not with much aches around.. do pop by again future k.. ( oh year, toking about tt, I DID AREA CLEANING lo. I wiped the table and FAN and cupboard top and sweep n mop the floor.. whoa.,. tiring job despite small room....)
