Return me my J please. All things japanese. My japanese music and television shows especially. Where is all the J-dramas now? J-pop? Suddenly remember my days of watching The warriors competition where hundreds go through the challenges to win. And Music Station, the quintessential music show back then. Give me back my takuya Kimura, takeshi takanouchi, hideaki takizawa and all. I loves J! Everything j! (Except wasabi). On a side note. I worked for Events Station yesterday afternoon in the sweltering heat. Wow. For Dnd canvassing. Anyway, the event was called First Honeymoon: south west cdc couples race. 30 couple raced for a chance to win a honeymoon trip, part of south west cdc family day at vivo city. At the station we were doing, one was blindfolded while the other one guided him/her to catch "fish" from our little pond. I just dun understand the ideology, was it suppose to help enhance these newly wed's relationship and communication? Erm. We saw a few end up in nasty little banter. Haha.. All for a prize.. :)

The title of Kaela Kimura's new single may be titled "Jasper" and my, does it make me scratch my head. For I have completely no idea why the title was chosen. Zero. But the song is easy listening, just so Kaela. And also, the techno background music and even more techno background in the MV makes this song real catchy and really un-j-popping jpop. I hope you will love it.

Come on. We all Know he is a great j-pop legend. What a great pop star, singer cum song writer. And oh how i enjoy this newest album "fakin' pop". ken hirai has always been one of my fave jap musician, alongside V6 and S.MAP. And tis is the first album i bot after learning jap. Though i haven't complelely understand what the lyrics are, but reading the hiragana n katakana can be fun. And spurs me to keep learning jap.. Lol... Jap is great. Having a partner who knows jap is even greater. And oh! Like the first line of the first track: I want to be a pop star! Haha. Right. That shall be the theme song for techno 221 party, alongside Kaela Kimura's Jasper. Wow..

Miloboi was invited to the Topshop/ Topman Fashion Party 2008, held on 26 March. It was a great pleasure to be part of it. And mingling amongst all the fashionista was an interesting experience. Miloboi enjoyed all the activities, and the champanes and canapes. Heres a photo proof of the excitement. Unfortunately there isn't a fashion show this year unlike the past 2 years..

lianhe student correspondent's annual singing competition is here again.. Now into its third year, and the last year before the "king of kings" round next year, I decided to give it another shot, considering that i was one of the top 8 two years ago.. haha.. this time around, there are more competitors, and the model of the competition has changed into a PK competition tingey aka one million stars.. its gonna be fun! Haha.. so i went for the audition two saturdays ago.. out of the 50 which auditioned, it dwindled down to the top 16 who will PK it out at the semi finals come June.. well.. excitement fills the room.. here are the top 16 semi-finalists..

Enough. Gou Le!!! Darling. I love japanese. but i love chinese even more. but with that i do not mean crystal jade or tung lok... i mean.. erm.. the tze-char stall??

and lastly, i dun tink i'll touch cheese in the next month or two.. because i had enough of cheese from the sushis, dons, and especially, from Carl's Junior (read beef chilli cheese fries and any burger with cheese!)... argh.. i never thought cheese would stink so much.. (i used to love it, believe me!)...

a visit to old school, the old classic MGS campus situated atop Mt Sophia... The walk up is a tough one.. But you will really appreciate the wonderful pockets of stuffs offered there, including Sinema@Old School and CDG Guerilla Stall (thats commes de Garcons for the unitiated).. A beautiful place, fresh air, and many arty farty things to check out.. Not forgetting just staying on campus, feeling the rejuvenation. There aren't that many school campuses being kept like it is nowadays.. Renovations, i prefer restorations...

My friends have replied tt its dumb to pay to attend a birthday party.. well..

why dun u juz take it as attending a chalet and pay for the food..

but then again, its a party.. so ya..

i have decided tt, unless i can find enough sponsors, i will try to cut down the price.. but still, its a challenge..

Through my experience canvassing for funds for an event, this should nt b a prob, other than the fact tt it is a personal event.. however, good news is on the way through my contacts and somehow or rather the emails communications seem to be running quite smoothly and sponsors are making its way to be part of my event, by cash or kind.. Woopee..

So till the date gets really closer and i can confirm tt i'm not running a party tt looses money, i'll still charge for the tickets at a nominal sum.. come on.. a bbq party for $8 when each person's food and party stuffs cost over $12.. "pi gao lao sai" la.. (hokkien: cheap until have diarrhoea) but still, i want everyone to enjoy, so befroe saying NO directly due to the $8 charge, consider it first.. u still got 2 months.. i bet it will be a fun event..

the rain disturbs me.. altho i like the cool weather, but the wet floors and constant drizzle/shower really turns me off.. I can't go run.. I can't go swim.. I can't even go out... I don't even feel like going lectures.. argh!

I feel perturbed.. disturbed.. incongruent.. i don't know why did i rush into booking the chalet.. now i got much things to handle again.. the nightmare of the cashflow problems bugs me once again like last year.. At least last year i could work my ass off and be satisfied with the fact tt the party is THERE.. this year, i need to work my ass off and i dun get paid.. worried about exams coming in just a MONTH!! A MONTH!! argh!

then again.. haiz.. the weather is putting me in a dosing off mood..

Sunday is the party.. 11th may.. sunday.. sorry people, i overlooked the fact tt it is mothers day.. should i change date? please advice me.. argh! then again.. hopefully not.. to those who are working n/or studying the next day, and cannot stay over, my apologies.. i'm looking into a post event chalet.. i love chalets.. (been missing out on chalets since all my friends finished their 21st-s... ) but my main group of friends who are uni students should be able to "ton" overnight right.. this is for you lo..

on another note, why is there a $8 charge? Because unlike last year, I DON'T BOTHER ABOUT PRESENTS.. but i still need to recoup the money spent, so the $8 is a highly subsidised rate, just think of it.. food, drinks, venues, goodies, deco, the drinks n snacks to last the night.. its far more than $8.. least the FOOD catering is more than $12 bucks per person le.. if the response is really poor than mayb i'll resort to just BBQ package and some simple food.. Haiz~

my mum's cousin's son got married... erm.. that is so distant.. i've probably only met the previous generation ppl when i was a kid running around my granny's backyard, and they came over for visit.. come on, they are so so so distant.. my mum don't even contact them..

五月天 :: 回到地球表面新加坡 演唱会2008签票会 was held today at Bugis Junction! Excitedly, I brought my tickets and attended the event! The queue was snaking all the way to the back, and it was a long wait..

Willie dearie suddenly called me at 7 and said he was at Bugis. I was so surprised! He met me and surprised me with yet another ting, he bought another ticket for the concert, the seat next to mine! Yeah! I had company. I shall not go into the argument of him not watching Chinese concerts.. Well.. Haha..

And he did the most interesting ting a guy his age might never do, given his reputation and image.. he queued up with me to go get May Day's autograph! Lol.. It was his first time attending an autograph session lo.. Haha..

And he also bought me the May Day 离开地球表面 CD + DVD. so touched....

Peifen was the host.. too bad could only take picture from apart..


When i went on stage, I wanted to say hi to her but was she was busy talking.. Willie even wanted to ask her take picture with me, but i din want to trouble her.. Hmm.. Now to think of it, how dumb.. I should have let him help me take pic.. roar..

And oh ya, they opened another sweettalk at the main entrance, next to Shilin.. Hmm Business must be good huh..And it is named Juicy instead, but the stuffs and staffs are all the same.. Wonder why. Cannot two branches same name huh. Duh..

I've got it! I've got it! I've got it!

Yeah. After my exams this April, I am going for May Day's concert 2008! Yay!

I really wanted to go last year, but I couldn't get tickets.. I regretted not attending Jay Chou's one earlier this year, so I shall not the same mistake again!

(but actually its Wildy dearie who bought it for me.. He refuses to go with me, saying it will kill him to attend a chinese concert. But he attended Eason's. And Aaron's last year. And Jackey's. Aren't they Chinese? Duh!)

I am going for May Day's autograph session tomorrow too! Yeah! (altho alone). But I am excited. 五月天万岁 !!

it was really a fast week, and my holidays are over.. argh.. well.. i did noting! *dreaded*

back in hall now and can onli blog now coz my K800i surprisingly cannot blog for the past 2 days.. (wonder if it had anyting to do with the mass mms-ing of a Mas Selamat Kastari's photos and msg) anyway.. i can onli blog with my com.. so here i am..

on sat, after dragongate meeting with 3238, i met Will at Vivo.. after walking rounds and sitting round for coffee, he decided we should have a "baby" and something to celebrate our first week together.. so sweet..

so we walked into Build-a-Bear workshop, both of us have emtered umpteen times, but the first time that we are "building a bear". I was quite excited seriously, but i didn't want him to spent much, so I chose a real basic Lil' Honey Cub.

i wanted to choose some nice street clothes, but buying separately was quite ex (we not tt long together, i paiseh la) so i chose this, relatively cheaper set.. haha.. and he agreed on his part, coz it represented us quite well.. know why?

because it came with multi coloured bands.. and he was saying when put like tt, well, its a rainbow.. dotz... (if u noe it u noe it, dunno, then too bad)

then Will wanted to get another piece of clothes for this, which oso symbolises us.. so he chose this camo printed bear boxers..

and all the pants of the bears have this hole.. which it took us some time to think of whether it was to be worn in front or at the back.. surprisingly, its at the back for its tail.. haha.. to out amazement.. he joked tt the bears are all btms.. watever..

on a sidenote, Will fluffed and stuffed up the bear, what he choose to call as our first baby.. Right.. and we had to put a little heart into it.. he made wishes for the heart, and squeezed it, kissed it, and blessed it before stuffing it into our "baby"..

and then we went to get ready it's "birth certificate"..
