Minutes to Midnight : to a better 2008!

Its just less than an hour to go, and wow! What an exciting night!

Lets juz do a simple recap on what's been with miloboi zac back in the year 2007!

*worked MANY different jobs.. i gained much experience in work and social relation, and how difficult it is to be working for ur own $$! well, heres where i worked: January: Lloyd's Register (Shipping company) / Feb- March SP Services Limited / May - July (i tink, forgot le.. hehe) - Sentosa Merlion and Songs of the Sea.

*Started life in University. NTU's a great place!

*Completed several runs this year: from Mizuno wave run, to Sheare's Bridge Run Army Half Marathon, New Balance Real Run and finishing off with Singapore Marathon.

*Celebrated my BIRTHDAY!! 21st Birthday!! Pure and Sexy 2007, the party at Aloha Changi was a SUCCESS with close to 100 participants.. Stay tuned to another installment in 2008!

*Underwent my JAW alignment surgery FINALLY after waiting for so long! It was a period of pain, and it will continue thru the new year. But i look so much better now, and will keep it up, continue to fast and jian fei!

Erm... i tink got alot more.. but i too excited to think now.. haha.. well, here's my NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS for 2008!

2008, i want to:
*get my driving license!
*PASS all my module and get OUT of academic warning!
*Learn a new language!
*learn to SAVE money!
*enjoy my life as a student with all my CCAs and activities.. lead a eexciting life!
*Be SPORTY and loose weight! I want to abe a sporty "shuai ge".. lolx!
*Make FRIENDS! lead an exciting social life!
*Be the CLUBBER!
*dress more fashionable! I WANT TO BE THE FASHIONISTA!
*Have a GREAT party sometime in MAY! it'll be a belated birthday party, but more important to celebrate friendship, look out for it!

Here's wishing one and all a HAPPY and PROSPEROUS new year! Wishing all good luck, good health, and success in all that u do! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!

I promise to work harder!

A promise to myself: that i won't slack. That i Will study hard right from the first day. That i'll keep a healthy lifestyle. That i will spend less money. That i will get better results. Elmo n me for christmas

In the last few minutes of Christmas, let Isaac here wish all once again a Merry Christmas! Yay! It was a tiring and heart warning Christmas i had with my Vinc, my boyfriend, and our families. And tis Elmo was my Christmas present together with a havaianas with my initials. Yeah. Thanks dear! And we celebrated christmas last night at west coast with chestnuts. So fun but tiring night out, unfortunately i can't talk, but was nice. Hehe.. How i wish i could savour all the good good food. Thanks To my dearest santa, zhiwei da Jie who i gave me a GAP gift card.. Merry Christmas.. Will make use of it during the sale period.. Hehe.. Speaking of sale, topman's having end season sale! Hey peeps.. Hahaha! Hohoho!

Christmas 大餐

Hohoho! Its going to b christmas in Juz 3.5 more hours. And i cannot eat nor talk. Roar. Juz enjoying my little 'dinner' at Mos burger wif vinc dada.. Coz i found out got something i can drink.. Other than milk tea, i can drink corn soup! Yeah! But very ex lo... So exciting.. He blow the corn soup so that not too hot for me.. Hehe.. Ok la.. Now waiting later going west coast see the chestnut ppl eat. Haha.. Our annual christmas get together! So exciting.. Got present exchange! Vinc mite join me.. But not sure, coz he might need to help out wif work at the booth outside heeren.. Watever. merry christmas to one and all. May all your wishes this christmas come true. Love all u guys! And most importantly, enjoy every moment. Hope u will get to see me new face soon. So far, those who have seen me all stunned. Haha.. Still haven't completely recover lo.. Still a bit swollen.. But my Jaw bra now only need to wear part-time. Yeah! To my darling, love u. Thanks for the year. And for more to come. Merry christmas once again!

I'm discharged later le.. Seems alright but i'm actually quite numb n swollen all over. And hospital is very very boring! Miss my tv. Thanks to eunice, zhiwei, mike, vincent, Qi yan Jie Jie, Ah kim n most important mummy i came every day. Still need u to take care of me.. Really dunno what will happen for the next few day. Bless me and pray for me alright. Cheers;)

Last last food..

My mum bought me mian jian guo.. Hehe.. Love u mummy.. Really my last food item le. Coz at 12 its gonna b drip n no food or drinks. For a better looking Isaac, here it goes. Thank everyone for ur well wishes. C u guys!

My last meal..

Hello ppl. Tis is my last meal le.. Haha.. Bread n butter n hot milo. Then i will fast from 12mn.. And tmr i will b up by 7.30 and will prepare for my operation at around 9. It will last for 6 hours till approx 3.30pm.. Then i'll b in Icu. Really hope to see all of u soon.. By the way, my op consist of 3 part. Maxillofacial surgery wif mid line split on top jaw. N submental liposuction at chin area. So exciting.. Then mite b on mc for a month.. Haha.. C u guys ya.. Come visit me K. And to vin, love u lots. Take care.

Hi everyone! Isaac here in changi general hospital ward 39 bed 22. Boring.. Haha.. Can move around still la.. But go where.. Haha.. By right should b in b2 ward, but not enuf bed temp put me in b1.. Hehe.. Compared to my neighbour watching 881 on portable dvd, i only have sidney sheldon n john grisham to Pei me. Will update more thru the day.. Hehe.. Btw, Ouch, the needle hurt.. And oso, everyone like blur blur de, like dunno why i'm here for.. Even the doc dunno about my operation detail.. Well. *so exciting*

a life changing event!

5 more days. 18th December 2007. I'll be in the operation theatre in Changi General Hospital.

the days leading up to it is so exciting but yet tiring as well. I am now in the midst of enjoying the final few days, doing things I mite not be able to do for the next few weeks..

eating.. singing.. talking.. i can't do it soon.. feel paralyse.

but i've waited so so so long for it. THREE whole years in fact. and finally its here.

my upper and lower jaws will be moved millimeters. but belief me, i will look different. so different that some of u mite not recognise me. haha!

but for those of u who care, do come down and visit the lonely me who will have to stay in hospital for 5 days after the operation k? from nex wednesday, if got time, come and see me, all wrapped up like a Christmas tree lo. with swollen cheekbones and all.. but all in all.. i'll look different after tt.. wow, so exciting.

so.. if u bother, come k? will lurve ya lots.. haha..

*and to Vinc: This will be our most special Christmas, yet. Although u noe me so long le, finally u can see (i hope) a new me.. and its our 20th.. u noe wat.. hehe.. i dun noe wat will it be like., but i hope u will be there for me like i will be there for u.. cheers:)*

海的味道

Sat beside the Singapore River with Vinc enjoying our sea-salt and caramel flavoured Azabu Sabo gelato. A little sweet. A little salty. A Lot of breeze. And all filled with bliss. Simple pleasures in life. ;)

A long time since i last blogged... why? coz my internet is still down and I persistently refuse to call SingNet technical helpdesk again coz its of NO HELP!

What's been happening over the weekend? Loads!

Last friday: I went to DONATE BLOOD!
-it was not as painful as I thought it was. two needles prick, one during testing, the other during the transfusion.. I took a whole packet of blood.. muz go another time. Well, the questionnaire that I was required asked some silly questions regarding "MSM". Well, I revealed honestly. NO! I don't do msm.. hmm.. and they asked if I was donating blood juz to check if i've HIV. I would rather go to a clinic for confidential check right? duh! Overall, I spent a meaningful hour at the bloodbank donating blood to myself for use during the operation.

for the UNINITIATED, I am going to be iN CHANGI GENERAL HOSPITAL from 17th December to approximately 23rd DECEMBER! My JAW RESTORATIVE ALIGNMENT SURGERY or also known as orthomaxillofacial surgery will take place on 18th Dec.. I'll be under general anaesthesia and will probably wake up on the following day! Do come for a party from 19th onwards okay? haha.. once again, DONT BOTHER FRUITS, I CAN"T EAT! lolx..

*back to last friday: I went walk walk at Chinatown, down to Central (its at clark quay) then to Raffles city.. I can really walk right.. haha...

On saturday: I rested the whole day.. and went for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon Pasta Party that night.. I've never been to a buffet with purely pasta.. But I must comment that the pasta was delicious! roar!Cheers to the committee for the great dinner n the opportunity to meet the rest of the people!

Then on Sunday,

-10km run at the Singapore Marathon. I'm still awaiting for the official results on the internet site. Haha.. but I know I did quite badly as compared to the previous 2 10km runs.. about 2 mins worst.. too bad.. try again next year!

-after the run, I went vivo city to buy items from the celebrity car boot sale at St James power station car park.. wow.. but 11am, (supposed to start at 11 la) all felicia chin's items were gone! but I still managed to grab Julian Hee's item.. although I tot it was quite expansive, but well, its for charity and its from julian hee! yeah!

-in the afternoon (after my bath at home), i went to orchard to take part in the Walk for Aids event held by Action for Aids... it was a nice event and I thought was sincere and necessary. walked from *Scape skate park to Tangs M.A.C counter..

the whole road there were so many people in red or blue party tank from NUM and I think the message about World Aids Day was effectively spread. Cheers to the committee!

Today:

was a busy day

-morning, I went for Epiphany theatres meeting.. and visited the Nanyang Playhouse.. whoa.. nice nice nice place. So excited about it and the whole event.. really exciting to be involved and towards the whole performance.

-decorated the board with the people frm DnD comm designing team. haha.. rushed into it and made it look "not too bad".. but its only the beginning.

-went to watch Wilber Pan campus concert!!! Yeah! Finally.. got the tickets since october lo.. until now then the concert.. haha.. but it was great.. wilber is a really FUN guy. and he is GROOVY! haha.. i think his dancing is 10 times better then a certain other entertainer..


and in the end got "bao bao hui" or hugging session. and I kena tempted to pay 20 bucks to buy the CD so i can hug him.. roar.. There goes my 20....

-DnD meeting.. theme decided: casino royale.. erm.. normal lo.. haha.. juz like any other dnd.. and all i can say is, there will be much jobs to do for now, designing the stuffs.. haha.. interesting..

this holidays all the way i'm busy with lotsa work.. but will still squeeze time for some fun la.. yay!
